Email your MP to urge the Chancellor to Tax Wealth
Wealth inequality in the UK is high.
As Christians, we believe in putting into practice the command to love our neighbour. A caring and compassionate society should do all it can to protect the most vulnerable, not further burden them with increased taxation on their earnings. That is why we are calling for greater taxation on wealth – including introducing a wealth tax of 1-2% on assets over £10 million.
We believe it's time that those most able to do so pay a fair share back to the society that so often serves them so well. Would you join our call by asking your MP to speak to the Chancellor about this?
